  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 Tbsp ghee or oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/3 C water

Method
 

Steps
  1. Set your Instant Pot to Saute mode and wait until the screen indicates it is hot.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry and mix the salt and spices; then apply half of this mixture to one side of the chicken.
  3. Once the Instant Pot is hot, add oil and place the seasoned chicken breasts in, seasoning-side down. Sprinkle the remaining spice mixture on top and brown each side for two minutes.
  4. Pour in 1/3 cup of water, scraping any stuck bits from the pot bottom. Secure the lid, turn the valve to sealing, and pressure cook on high for five minutes.
  5. Allow a natural pressure release for ten minutes, then manually release any leftover pressure. The chicken is now ready to be sliced, shredded, or served.
